18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, black painted curly lashes, incised upper eyeliner, black feathered brows with fly-away details, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, coral shaded lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, black mohair wig, brown composition baby body, antique baby dress with cotton pinafore, sun bonnet with lace edging, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K made in Germany 14 JDK Jr. c. 1914 Hilda Ges Gesch (head) 46 (impressed on back torso). Comments: Kestner, circa 1914, their trademarked baby doll. Value Points: superior quality of bisque and richly painted complexion, original wig, plaster pate, body, body finish, on the rarely found model.
