Description
9" (23 cm.) doll. 15" x 15" box. Presented within a lavishly fitted box with decorative paper covers and lace edging is a bisque head doll with brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, single-stroke brows, open mouth, four tiny porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed body, marked A 390 M DRGM Germany. The doll is wearing pretty school dress and is surrounded by a fine assortment of additional costumes and accessories including three additional dresses, coat and hat, chemise, shoes, opera glasses, brush, powder puff and more. Excellent condition. For the French market, circa 1890.
