19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly painted lashes, brushstroked brows with enhancing glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, white mohair wig in original coiffure over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed lady body with shapely bosom, waist and derriere. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 8 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: rare couturier model in virtually unplayed with condition, wearing original costume in the 18th century Marquise style decorated with silk flowers, beading, with original elaborately arranged and decorated wig, leather gloves, Jumeau undergarments, and Jumeau silk shoes with gold "Bebe Jumeau" gold lettering.
