Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, open mouth with outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D made in Germany 8 174 (head) Germany 2 (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: pretty child has original body and body finish, wears fine antique costume.
