30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head with pink tinting, solid dome, blonde sculpted hair with blonde forelock curl, modeled "stuck-out" ears, dark blue intaglio eyes with large black pupils and white eyedots, black and red upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast pouty expression on the shaded lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, costumed in navy blue sailor suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 58 Heubach (sunburst) 7602 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: fine large size of the wistful character boy has excellent bisque and modeling.
