Description
To fit infant, the bonnets are finely woven and bead decorated. One is embroidered with small green beads, with note indicating that the bonnet was originally worn by Johan Carl Davidson (1771-1831), and the other is decorated with garlands of colorful beaded flowers. Along with small silk lined beaded purse with woven image of dog barking at the moon, and a woven reticule known as "miser's purse" with silver beadwork and silver belt loop. Excellent condition. Late 18th/mid-19th century.
