13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow and cheek blush, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, double row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, commercial kid body with stitch-jointing, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent, some kid wear, thumbs missing. Marks: 6. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1885, the doll was made to compete with the French market, and closely resembles an early Jumeau bebe. Value Points: pretty child doll with swivel head, beautiful blushing, antique silk dress, undergarments, kid shoes, bonnet.
