Description

13" (33 cm.) largest, 6" smaller. Each has bisque shoulder head with brown glass eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with primly set lips, muslin body. The larger doll has pierced ears, porcelain limbs, and very elaborate original mohair wig with long ringlet curls at sides and coiled braid at the back, silk dress; the smaller has original blonde mohair wig, bisque limbs, original muslin house dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H 1160 3 (larger) 8/0 (smaller). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: a delightful size comparison between largest and smallest of this model, each with fine original wig.
