36" (91 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, long curly painted lashes, slightly modeled feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, fine matte bisque, brunette human hair antique wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with above-the-knee leg jointing. Condition: generally excellent, upper legs repainted. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117n Germany 90 (back of head) 30.XI.27 (crown rim). Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, their "n" version of the 117,circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful large size of the bright-eyed child with very expressive features, original body, wearing brown silk coat with matching velvet bonnet, white cotton dress, undergarments, shoes, stockings.
