11" (28 cm.) largest. Each has porcelain shoulder head with ebony black complexion, sculpted hair in very tight short curls, painted features, brown muslin body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: including 11" man with black upper glancing eyes, black porcelain lower limbs, wearing antique gentleman's suit; 10" boy with rare painted brown eyes, brown porcelain limbs; and 8" girl with painted limbs and defined boots, wearing country costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1890. Value Points: a rare trio with excellent detail of features, rare brown eyes on boy, the smallest bearing an award ribbon from Aunt Lenora Hoyte's Museum from where it was acquired by Carole Jean Zvonar.
