Description
A wooden box with cardboard lid having illustration of a carriage garage and two carriages along with three-language title of contents contains within all of the wooden construction pieces for assembling six different wagons or carriages. The assembly is by simple wooden pegs so carriages can be disassembled and others built. Included are three sheets showing the six different carriages that are possible. The sheets and box lid are each marked with maker's symbol and intertwined initials CB (BC?), along with No.232, and indication that the toy is patented in Germany, France and US. The box lid is spotted, the contents are pristine and appear to be complete. Germany, late 19th century.
