19" (48 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark painted eye liner, painted lashes, feathered brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined smiling expression, outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original kid poupee body with shapely torso, gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid arms with bisque hands, included is antique gown and extended petticoat. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: G (head) H (shoulderplate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his 1872 deposed model of poupee representing the beloved French Empress Eugenie. Value Points: pristine condition of the all-original doll with original coiffure in wig, original earrings, superb bisque and complexion, original deposed body with Bru sculpted bisque hands.
