22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass flirty eyes, mohair lashes, thick eye liner, painted lashes, slightly modeled brush stroked brows with feathered detail and glazed highlights, accented nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair, French composition and wooden body with jointing at shoulders, elbows, knees and wrists, hinged walking movement at the hips that simultaneously causes the doll to turn her head from side to side and cry "mama". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1039 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 10 1/2 (head) Brevete SGDG (body). Comments: French, circa 1895, with original head commissioned from Simon and Halbig. Value Points: in virtually unplayed with condition, the beautiful bebe has original very fancy dress, dress, socks, shoes, undergarments.
