Stored in its original (very frail) simple cardboard box with partial Schoenhut label, the early set comprises six glass-eyed animals (poodle with cloth mane, white dappled horse with flannel mane and balancing stand, two brown donkeys, elephant, and unusual solid white horse without mane) as well as four clowns with two-part heads, original costumes including Cracker Jack and costume with playing card suits. And including Hobo with original costume, and the following accessories: two ladders, three chairs, white stand, two decorated stands, two barrels, hoop and two large green hoops. Also included is a (very worn) early catalog showing "A Dozen Tricks by Cracker Jack" and the "surprising novelty jointed hobby horse" with photographs. The circus animals, people and accessories are in excellent unplayed with condition. Schoenhut, circa 1910.
