Description
13" (33 cm.) A bisque shoulder head doll with blue glass eyes,painted lashes and brows,open mouth,four teeth,blonde mohair wig,is attached to carton torso that contains a musical box,with long maple wood handle having whistle tip. The marotte is decorated with original costume of blue and rose sateen with lace edging,matching clown cap. When twirled,the costume swings about in a merry way and music plays. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1890. Value Points: the festive marotte is all original and functions well.
