Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with richly shaded lips in wistful expression, brunette mohair braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 39. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character transitional series, marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling). Value Points: fine all-original condition of the pensive child, beautiful matte bisque with touches of glazed patina, original wig, body, body finish, and factory-original costume including flowered dress, undergarments, socks, shoes, and red felt flannel coat and matching cap.
