Pale pressed bisque socket head with elongated facial modeling and very full cheeks, large pale blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils of uniquely shaped pointy-tip nose, closed mouth with well-defined space between the outlined lips, impressed philtrum and lip and chin dimples, pierced ears, antique brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, flat-cut derriere, separated fingers, wearing antique opaque muslin dress with fine Alencon lace collar and sleeves, undergarments, lace cap, stockings, kidskin shoes. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest pinflake at right eye rim. Marks: Sch (in shield) 6 (on head, also Schmitt shield on derriere bottom). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1884.
