Description
2" (5 cm.) tallest tree. Comprising a large set of double-sided soft metal figural miniatures depicting people and elements from a fair or exposition. The set includes 18 fence parts, four architectural features including entrance to the pavilion and two merchant stalls, 27 trees and small flowering shrubs, 18 individual people including tradesmen, waiter, soldiers, ladies and gentlemen, and 7 vignettes of people including girl with carriage, and a three-person tea party. Along with a wooden box labeled with symbols of crown, wreath and six-pointed star and "183 Nacht Lachter fur das halbe jahr L S Nurnberg". Excellent condition. Nuremberg, circa 1840.
