Description

41" (104 cm.) Wax head mannequin with blue glass eyes, character expression, human hair, posed on wooden stick dowel that inserts into torso of mannequin, or is removable for use of mannequin without head. The body is all-wood excepting wax hands, and has elaborate dowel-articulation of arms, posed legs with original black stockings and shoes, and is mounted on wooden platform for easy display, although detachable. Structurally excellent although wax finish worn, body repainted. French, circa 1875.
