Description
5.5" (14 cm.) Pink tinted thick paste porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted ringlet curls, painted facial features, wooden body with shapely waist, dowel-jointing, porcelain lower limbs, painted orange shoes. Condition: generally excellent, bottom edge of back shoulder plate is rough. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: rare early doll with original body, along with four drawer miniature chest with tiny bone handles.
