18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with large blue glass inset eyes, dark painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent, flake above right eye, few finger chips. Marks: S 6 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful early model with well-defined features, lovely expression and bisque, antique costume.
