14" (36 cm.) x 16". In a country setting a young boy with flowing curly hair is seated upon a hillside. The engraving is enhanced with needlework that comprises the boy's costume and shoes, hat, hillside and nearby trees; only the sky and the boy's face and hair have original paper designs. Enclosed in (new) gilded wooden frame. Excellent condition. Circa 1850. $300/500
