Comprising crisp ice blue silk taffeta dress, fully-muslin-lined having 25" overall length, 10" shoulders, and adjustable drawstring waist, with low rounded neckline with lace edging, black soutache and silk trim, three rows of blue ruffles at the skirt, to fit child about 4 years, or plump-bodied doll over 38". Along with princess style white pique dress with handmade button holes, lavish trim in cutwork, rick-rack and soutache, along with elaborate cape with wide cutwork ruffled border. 21"l of dress, 8" shoulders, to fit doll 34"-36". Excellent condition, two superb early costumes with well-preserved silk and decorations. Circa 1860.
