17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark painted lashes and thick brush-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips and tiny stuck-out tongue tip, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.G. (in scroll) 6. Comments: Gaultier Freres, circa 1888. Value Points: especially pretty little bebe with nicely blushed complexion, splendid eyes unusual on this model, original body and body finish, antique dress, undergarments, socks, shoes, and straw bonnet.
