Description
18" (46 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid lady body with shapely torso and limbs, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: early firing(?) line down center of forehead, otherwise excellent. Marks: E. 4 B. Comment: attributed to Blampoix, circa 1860. Value Points: beautiful eyes with rich decoration, wearing lovely antique costume, undergarments, bonnet, stockings, heeled boots.
