Bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition five piece body with internal keywind mechanism for walking. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose SFBJ 2. Comments: circa 1900, when keywound, the doll can be "walked along" as legs alternately lift up and down. Value Points: petite example of the walking bebe, wearing her original baby costume that includes walking "straps", bib, jacket, diaper and cap that are a matched ensemble.
