Bisque socket head, very plump cheeks and chin, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over original skin wig and Schmitt plaster pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with flat-cut derriere and straight wrists, antique costume comprising dress, undergarments, rose knit stockings, tan leather shoes with buckles, pearls, pearl earrings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sch (in shield on head and flat-cut of derriere) 000 (head). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1880. Value Points: very beautiful petite Schmitt bebe with entrancing expression, finest bisque and painting, original Schmitt pate, original body and body finish.
