23" (58 cm.) Bisque swivel head with cut pate at back of head, small blue glass enamel inset eyes, thick dark eye liner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly parted lips with two rows of tiny teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair fleecy wig, bisque shoulder plate and upper arms, bisque lower torso and upper legs, bisque lower arms and legs with sculpted hands and bare feet, pull-string "mama" crier in torso, antique baby gown is included. Condition: generally excellent, one baby finger broken at knuckle. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1870. Value Points: very rare model with superb bisque and painting, original body.
