19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, row of porcelain teeth, brunette human hand-tied wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Tete Jumeau 8 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1895. Value Points: very pretty bebe with luminous eyes wearing fine antique striped mariner costume with blue anchor insignia, brown leather cap lettered in gold "H.M.S. Edward" with gold label of Paris department store Au Louvre on the inside.
