21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, dark painted lashes, brush stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils ,open mouth, outlined lips, row of open teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original firing line above right ear (under wig). Marks: 9. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1895, the doll has an unusual smiling expression with very full cheeks. Value Points: the pretty bebe has original wig, pate, Jumeau earrings, Jumeau flowered chemise dress with Bebe Jumeau banner, socks and shoes.
