Description
7" (18 cm.) l. A heavy tinplate sewing machine with original black paint lavishly decorated with golden scrolls, flowers and vines, and has working needle and wheel. Condition: generally excellent, Marks: 89416 (impressed on metal plate). Comments: probably German, the instruction sheet, although written in French, bears the printing label of August Schaefer, Berlin. Value Points: the toy machine is preserved in unplayed with condition in its original box with illustration on the lid.
