7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on bisque torso, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. tiny chip on right upper arm. Marks: S3 H 88?. Comments: Simon & Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: very beautiful face on the early swivel-head doll, wearing original white pique taufling costume and resting on lace pillow.
