Description
22" (56 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, French kid gusset-jointed poupee body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 (head and shoulders) F.G. (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: especially pretty pale complexion enhanced by brilliant eyes, very sturdy original body, antique day dress, undergarments, straw bonnet, stockings, shoes.
