9" (23 cm.) A celluloid-head doll with sculpted brown curly hair and painted facial features, cork pate enclosing mechanism, wooden loosely jointed limbs, metal hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: a later version of the "Ondine" swimming doll, circa 1895. Value Points: pristine original condition, the doll has flawless painting of complexion, hair and limbs, and wears her factory original blue swimsuit with generous lace trim, matching swim cap, functions well, and has original box.
