2.5" (6 cm.) l. rattle. Comprising a richly embossed silver miniature rattle with bells and whistle; 4" lithographed tin mailbox with design of blue birds delivering mail and mail slot above; 3" x 3" walnut game box with game pieces and coins; 1 1/4" gilded coin box embossed "Argent de Miniature de tous les peuples" and "L. Chr. Lauer Nurnberg" containing small faux-gold coins; and a 2" diameter boy's firm-sided green velvet cap. Excellent condition. Late 19th century.
