14" (36 cm.) Carved wooden shoulder head with oval-shaped face, elongated throat, black sculpted hair in centerpart and looped into chignon at back of head, carved and painted tiny facial features, blushed cheeks, early muslin body, wooden lower arms and legs, wearing early muslin gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, nose rub, some early retouch on forehead. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1850. Value Points: charming early wooden head doll with original costume.
