16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with brown complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, black painted lashes, black feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, open mouth, coral-shaded lips with decorative glaze, pierced ears, black fleecy hair, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique pinafore dress, blouse, undergarments, stockings, shoes and straw bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1238 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 4 (head). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910. Value Points: beautiful painting of facial features and complexion on the rare model, original body and body finish, original store label on back torso "Maison Jean Bruxelles".
