17" (43 cm.) All cloth doll has pressed and oil-painted facial features and hair, short brown curly hair, sculpted ears, painted brown eyes, dark upper eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth, all cloth body with stitch-jointed upper arms and disc-jointed legs, cotton dress, undergarments, slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse (left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: early period of the wistful character retains fine original lustrous patina, beautiful blushing and painting
