6 1/2" (17 cm.) Each has bisque socket head with solid dome, sculpted hair (she with forelock curl and bobbed side curls), blue intaglio side-glancing eyes, button-shaped nose, closed mouth with impish smile, five-piece paper mache body, painted socks and shoes, nicely costumed. Marks: 210 A 10/0 M Germany (girl) 320 A 11/0 M Germany (boy). Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Marseille, circa 1920. Value Points: delightful impish pair of googlies.
