18" (46 cm.) Solid domed celluloid head with flanged neck, sculpted and painted baby hair, blue glass sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, open mouth, all cloth softly stuffed baby body with jointed limbs, curled fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (turtle mark) 48. Comments: Rheinische Gummi, circa 1935. Value Points: beautiful complexion and sculpting, rare body style, wearing original costume of blue silk/wool double-breasted baby coat and cap with label from "The White House,58 rue de Namur, Bruxelles".
