Description
12" (5 cm.) Slender bisque swivel head on bisque shoulder plate, very pale complexion with cheek blush, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, delicately painted lashes, red upper eyeliner, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body. Condition: bisque excellent, body is original albeit very worn. Marks: 10. Comments: circa 1872. Value Points: rare cobalt glass eyes, pierced ears, petite size, beautiful antique gown, and superb original coiffure of tiny braids interwoven with blue silk ribbons.
