Description
5" (13 cm.) Arranged upon a porcelain base with gilt scrolled accents is a pianoforte with elephantine legs from the Charles X empire era, a music sheet arranged upon the music rack "Grand Fantaisie par Ludwig von Beethoven"; seated in front is a bonneted child with decorated bib and gown, alongside a pedestal stand. Excellent condition. French, probably Sevres, early 1800s.
