Description
15" (38 cm.) The barrel shaped lantern of painted red tin has four feet, side handles, brass lens, brass chimney and embossed insignia of spread eagle. The internal lantern is intact, and the piece is preserved in original paper covered wooden box (lacking lid). An identical model to signed Ernst Plank example, yet with different markings. Excellent condition with very minor paint rubs. Circa 1885.
