10" (25 cm.) Each has bisque socket head, black glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, black human hair in long queue, five piece paper mache body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 13/0. Comments: circa 1890. Value Points: the pair are wearing their original silk exhibition costumed with elaborate detail including tasseled emblems, slippers and headdress, and each has its original matching wooden stand with silk cover.
