18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark painted lashes and eyeliner, widely brush-stroked brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, slightly parted lips, row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, Steiner composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, right baby finger missing. Marks: *20. Comments: Steiner, circa 1895. Value Points: well-defined sculpting and pretty bisque enhanced by lovely painting, original body and body finish, beautiful antique velvet coat, fur cap, with undergarments and leather shoes.
