Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, having darkest brown complexion, black glass eyes, black painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with prim painted lips, pierced ears, black fleecy wig, brown kid poupee body with shapely torso, gusset-jointing, brown bisque forearms with sculpted individual fingers. Condition: generally excellent, right middle finger broken at knuckle. Marks: 2. Comments: attributed to Bru, circa 1867. Value Points: rare brown complexion is flawless with luminous patina, rare brown bisque hands, very sturdy original body, antique costume.
