Comments: William Dehler, circa 1885, the German merchant whose dolls closely resembled French dolls of the era maintained offices at Blvd de Strasbourg in Paris where he was able to maintain close relationships with French doll shops, and have proximity to new models of bebes by French doll firms. Value Points: rare signed model of Sonneberg doll, closely resembling Steiner bebe, is wearing her factory original dress, cape, undergarments, stockings, shoes and earrings.
