10" (25 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead, black sculpted hair feathered away from face and captured in a modeled black snood at the back, slender elongated face and throat, large blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, tiny closed mouth, firmly stuffed kid body, antique blue silk gown with black velvet trim. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: charming diminutive size with excellent detail of modeling, large blue eyes.
