10" (25 cm.) x 8" box. 8" frame. A heavy cardboard box with colored engraving on the lid depicting five girls and women at needlework, depicting the actual frame included in the box,labeled in three languages "La Petite Brodeuse". Inside is contained a beautifully finish maple wood embroidery frame with adjustable sizes and a small needlework instruction book. Condition: box is worn and soiled, frame is near mint. Comments: Germany, mid-19th century.
