Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, dark painted lashes, thickly fringed and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, row of tiny porcelain teeth, hint of sculpted tongue, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original firing line on rim at back of head. Marks: 11 F.G. (in scroll). Comments: Gaultier Freres, circa 1888. Value Points: especially nice quality of bisque and painting on the large bebe with antique cord-du-roi dress, lace collar and cuffs, lace bonnet, undergarments, knit stockings,black leather shoes with brown silk rosettes, and carrying bone-handled folding parasol with brown silk cover.
